We've been watching the Glendale / La Canada fire from our bedroom window tonight. During the day I thought the smoke was pretty dramatic, but because it's dark, we can now see actual flames from our house. Our house in in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, so our elevation gives us the good shot at the fire. I haven't tuned into the news, but Martin & I are speculating that it's hit some houses by now. Lots of people live in lots of amazing houses around there. I sure hope they can control it soon.
