Blogger just ate my blog. Just gone. Said witty things. Finally blogged. And then it was gone. I guess we should fork out the bucks for the premium service. Well, maybe not today.
Things have been going on. . .I just haven't been blogging. Hang in there. I'll come back. (this is all for Mom, since I think she's the only one out there reading -- I love you Mom!) Let's see. . .
Audrey got teeth one & two on Monday. All in all it was pretty uneventful. I'm thinking that the other two kids gave us a bit more grief about the whole tooth thing. Perhaps she'll pay us back later. Perhaps I just ignored her teething woes because she's the third child, and quite frankly I don't have the time to be overly sympathetic. But really, she is such a mellow kid. She really rolls with it.
Speaking of rolling with it . . . tonight was Halloween (I'm the only one in my family who celebrates it -- let's not get into that right now). Emily was a giant white bunny (again), Isaac was Bob the Builder (again) and Audrey was a pink, perhaps fairy princess, perhaps pink winged bug of some sort, but definitely cute. She even kept the crown of flowers on her head all night. Let me drag her about South Pasadena while the two big kids collected booty and just talked and charmed other parents. And while the others were ravaging their booty, Audrey happily chewed on a mini-carton of Dots. If she would sleep through the night, she'd be the ideal child.
The time change came and went with little hullabaloo here at the Diggs house. Of course, this was the "easy" time change. Audrey woke a couple of mornings a bit early for my tastes, but it wasn't terrible. The sun was up after all, and I'm back on coffee. 1/3 caf. Yes, I am a whimp, but my baby appreciates it.
And homeschooling is still going very well. Em is really thriving and Isaac is kind of working his way into some of the activities. We're all enjoying ourselves and Emily is really going places. She's very excited about math. Martin & I are learning what times of the day she functions best, and realizing how difficult it must be for teachers in a traditional school. With 20+ students at different levels I don't know how they do it.
And lastly, Martin likes mayonaise. Make fun of him next time you see him.
