exercise is a reasonable substitute for love

Sunday, October 19

so my estate and garage sale-ing once again paid off / cost me cash. i have to admit, it's an addiction. i wake on thursday trying to convince myself that i'll only stop at one or two sales. but as the signs beckon me, i'm rendered helpless. i must stop. what if "it" is there? what if someone else finds "it" first? and will they appreciate "it" like i would?

i found my juice-o-mat. i needed it. it matches my ice-o-mat. it was speaking to me. and we've made some dandy juice this weekend.

then a king size cotton blanket for $3. geez, i hope i don't regret that purchase this winter when it's a zillion degrees below zero here.

but the kicker is my piano. yup. i've got a piano. a lovely old spinet that fit (almost) just right into the mini van, so we didn't even have to rent a truck. the kids love it. i only wish i hadn't given my little sister a music book that i'd found a month ago (at an estate sale) for her birthday. i guess i have another something to search for this week!
