Audrey hit a series of buttons on the mac and now I can't access ANYTHING. Can't get on the internet. Can't get my mail. So if you've emailed me in the last 5 or 6 days and I haven't responded, you now know why. Martin will have to talk me through setting up my mrsdiggs mailbox on the kids computer.

I'm playing single-mom again. Martin is off to LA for hopeful work. Keeping SAG insurance for another year would be Sweet! GO MARTIN!!!
We're well here. Today Isaac had his first big day of preschool. Thursdays are extended three extra hours with a Mother's Day Out program. He had a great time. I was lucky (thank you children's librarian at the antioch branch) to find the only co-operative preschool in all of Johnson County. It's not much like the one we enjoyed so much in Burbank, but it'll do in a pinch. And it fulfills Isaac's only wish for a preschool. It has a tire swing.
I love garage sales. Really. They are so much more fun here than they were in Cali. First of all, it's much easier to come upon one. Secondly, most folks here aren't trying to sell their stuff like it's lined with gold. Today I found a Little Tike's airplane swing for our existing swingset. I'd found two other swings at two other garage sales (for $2 & $3) but there have been many battles (two swings, three kids. . .you get it, don't you?). I pulled up to a sale today and was giddy to see the 3rd swing for a mere $2. And a turtle shaped covered sand box for $3. It was a good day.
