not only am i cleaning but i am also doing a lot of home repair / home decor projects. i'm feeling a bit obsessed right now, but it keeps me busy and happy to boot. some of last week's projects include painting a bathroom, repairing the light switch for two celing fans, replacing the fill valve & flapper on a toilet and now i'm making blinds for the dining room. i'm sure most of you have never seen me work so hard. oh yeah, i painted the kitchen ceiling fan's blades red too.

on a much cooler note, this morning while i was driving emily to a playdate i noticed my car said it was only 53 degrees outside! i think the day topped out at 62. we must've had 3 inches of rain here too. crazy kansas july.

i'm going to the wiener dog races tomorrow. look at what happens to a girl when you take her out of l.a.!
